On December 25th 19:15 Shanti Nagar Bus stand boarded bus to CHALAKUDY.

December 26th 6:30am it was dark when 3 of us got down from bus looking for rishaw around. Somebody guided us to walk a km to find one, thats it we found auto for us,he looked he looked like he was waiting for us. He dropped us to guest house near Indian coffee house. This Guest house had specialty that every room had good quotes hanged. One goes like this -"Soft words can break hard hearts". It took me slow to understand the exact meaning .Well had our Tea and headed for breakfast in Indian Coffee house. We ate bullet proof idly. There comes Dr.K.H Amitha Bachan Sir and His Wife Fasi Madam and Little Champ Neha Small introduction in Indian Coffee House and packed our bags loaded inside car .All Set to start the journey to Mallakaparai. On our way visited Athirapally Falls which is also known as "Suren Chellakutti Falls".

Anthirapally Beautiful Falls,Everyone expressed common WOW at first front 3D look of the falls. Famous Aishwarya Rai Danced here in movie Guru.

Way back trekking high on rocks we spotted beautiful birds one with white and yellow combination and same bird with white and grey.First time I saw a Giant Squirrel gorging on without posing for a picture. hmmm thats ok,I still have one of your picture clicked without your eye on eye on my camera Mr.Squirrel.

Trekked back on rock and huge steps connecting to main road, relaxed with lime juice and headed to Vazhachal river flow. Beauty Again!

On our way to Mallakaparai, Gana and Neha started to play word build, And Neha gave excellent words very competitive and smart kid.

Took Journey Break and got down the car and spotted beautiful valley of Western Ghats. It looked like lump of Greenland floating on melted Ice.

 Started again ,On our way to Mallakaparai, A Tree ceased our 20 min time, fallen on our way up the hill .Group of strong men helped breaking them and making way for all the Cars queued up which was on halt.

 View from the house looked artistry. Had wonderful wise, tuned in nature related conversation with Amitha Sir. There comes Anitha Chechi and Ali (member of hornbill foundation) entering the entrance. Welcoming them we introduced each other and headed for a tea walk up the hill, taking short cut to Mallakaparai Town.

Tea with Amitha Sir was memorable one we discussed on education system, social evolution of north east INDIA .I remember when he quoted this unknown teaching unknown than known teaching unknown very true !with respect to our education system.

All of us had awesome dinner prepared by Chechi & Madam.

Played Chess with smarty Neha-She was such a smart kid, Surprising with this 6 yrs.’ old kid is she knew the Chess rules. Yes she did!

A Long day journey and trek to Anthirapally falls dragged us to rest and our brand new Decathlon Quechua Sleeping bags came in use (hahahha promoting our shopped brand).

December 27^th Day 3 2014.                            

Got up and ready for long walk with our friend Ali. Myself, Gana, Gokul .Ali Started to walk till check post  to check on the nearest bus stand to board bus to Valparai ,Tamil Nadu after coming from island the next day.

Watching Tea estates around us, we lately realized that we are 3000 ft above sea level. What a view! I Say!

Packed our bags in lite condition and shared luggage equally and waited for super express bus which came near our stay. (Amitha Bachan Sir, Madam, Neha, Gana, Gokul, Ali, Anitha Chechi, Ani, Mupaa (senior most). Took Bus till the view point of island, about 20 mins we all had nice workout inside bus which was swinging across the hill round and round down the hill criss and cross.

Got down at the view point and started getting down the lakeside to board bamboo raft. It was forest around I could see elephant shit dried up and asked Sir, is it safe we could see elephant shit in here.Sir replied, this isn’t fresh Anitha, this looks old for about a month nothing to worry. Lakeside shore had left with Many clues of Animal presence, my eyes looking around for more clues, I was scared and we are now waiting for Kadar heads to come and pick us .watching them coming from other end of shore with our binocular, having random topic conversation With Sir .Sir is Very informative and Very nice Hearted person .Well Ali and Mupaa Left to Get one more bamboo raft since it looked shortage .Finally they took around 2 hours to reach lake side and started to attach all bamboos  to make it one big raft . I am Scared again , Sir comforted me and assured that Bamboo will never sink so Keep calm and jump in to experience best of bamboo sailing . All Set and now I could feel the best ever bamboo sailing experience, it was enigmatic (Lifetime experience and I was lucky). Gana, Gokul, Anitha Chechi Neha, Myself and luggage with heads of tribe directing our raft .And on another Raft it was Sir, Ali and Mupaa leading us with huge Cannon Camera Capturing Mother Nature-The Beauty.

December 27^th 5pm 2014

SWAPNA MUDI- SWAPNA Means DREAM and MUDI is TOP of the Hill.

For me this was Island of Dreams. Dream come true experience.

Coming back to us, we cleared and made space to build our tent. Amitha Sir Started building and all of us joined hands while Cold covering the place Mupaa and others got some fire switched on! 

Anitha Chechi Started boiling hot water and prepared Black tea for us, Me and Gana looked around the place, While Gokul and Ali Went Away to download (Nature Call) and Ali I missed to mention he is an Artist (Best in Sketching) Settled down in shore listening the roar and enjoying evening mist capturing beauty of mother nature in his book, While Appu (Gokul) Swimming in the Valley enjoying the Cold and Embraced the nature love and care.

Swapna Mudi , Heavenly place ,Birds started signally while Sun coming down ,Cold covered the area,Nilgiri languor making more sound ho ho hooo hooo hoooooooo (He alerts others in forest).

Anitha Chechi, Suresh Anna, Mupaa and others Started preparing Dinner ,We found 3 dogs in island. This was brought in by other members of tribe for protection, they are trained. Neha liked the pets. While Appu started playing with them. Myself and Gana munching fried ground nuts.Gana and Madam Ji wanted to get in water so we went down to play in water in dark,

Enjoyed and back for Dinner, had Awesome Rice and tomato curry and we made places to sleep inside our tent. Boys Managed outside the tent, we gals rested warm inside tent.

A Night in Forest Listening to sounds in midnight, 4am: Sir got up and checked around with torch light .Rain started at 5 am and boys got up and switched on Fire. Early Rise and we all got up and started looking for place to download (Morning programs executed very well with natures support).

Anitha Chechi Prepared Upittu and tea for breakfast, it was time for us to leave from Swapna Mudi, to catch bus near the view point where we got down other day. Conveyed regards to Amitha Bachan Sir and madam ji, Neha, Anitha Chechi.(Missed them all so much ).

Missed everyone while leaving the shore. Ali Guided and Mupa took over the direction we reached other end of shore, reached early so waited for Bus, While Appu busy removing small thorns in his feet.

Took a pic with Kadar community Heads and headed to Mallakaparai with Ali ,Wrote thank you note in Visitors book and Left to town area , picked up auto till sholayar Dam to leave valparai Tamil nadu for our next venture towards parambhikulam national park.

Coastal trip-Kannur-Kerala Sept 13th –Sept 16th 2014(Visit to Kannur-Payyanur-Ereload)

Day 1

Sept 13th Early start to Lisha (Alias Lishi) house in Kerala, 7am Left home and on my way to reach axa Lishi was waiting while I was crossing the early morning traffic in Bangalore. Rushed to auto rickshaw and reached our destination that’s Madiwala bus stand, I was all excited and just wanted to go away from Bangalore to have some good time with my best buddies, and this travel yes it was with my best buddy Lishi with whom my bandwidth thinking and every aspect matches She s amazing person and we chatted an hour till we got “ASHOKA” . 8:00am ASHOKA took us to Kalaseepalya beautiful market.

Lishi goes IN Main travel office to pick up tickets for our reserved seats no 3 and 4 , While I was looking around the crowd waiting for bus, Spotted Bunch of sharp eyed , dark and long curl traditional beautiful ladies in the walk way blocking the walk area of the bus. Ticket set, lifted heavy bags inside the bus and started our never ending chat history future forgetting present ha-ha.  All that my energy meter turned almost red we open our Green box mom s special for the day and shared our breakfast.

Crossed Srirangapatna and connected Hussur road taking KRS road, Matinee started and we watched “Nadodi Mannan”, Loved the title song Padmanabham Padmanabum ! Lishi please don’t kill me I know uncles name is the same.

Break on Break in Virajpet and started again dozing off. Opened my eyes and my eyes looking for plastic cover , mom spl was on its way back round the road up the hill I throw up, Thanks Lishi was being my friend , a sister next to me gave me water and helped me to rest till we reach Kannur.

Lishi had this 512mb Memory (her brain capacity) forgetting the way to Kannur city bus way. Asking around and looking for bus stand direction we walked crossing roads .There we go we found a jet called Super-fast Bus only 5 stops to Payyanur.OMG my 612mb (My brain) got hung (speed shock) and my processor (Stomach)working like mixer and all ready for 3rd round output plastic bag already with me. Super-fast bus took us to payyanur and uncle along with Ananthu, Nandu (Nandana),we jumped in car relaxing and breathing fresh air.

Reached home with warm welcome from Aunty and Ji Akka (Jisha), cute onam rangoli was very attractive with 4 color flower put in alternate in circle. Got fresh and had Awesome Dinner.Nandu started her speaking course and gave me best company helping with words.

Nice meeting Jisha akka(Lishi 2nd elder sister),She was quiet and sweet  simple akka.Loved Aunty mango pickles , Nandu – cute little niece of Lishi resembled so much like Aunty (very beautiful).

All Set to Dozz off snoring with Nandu and Lishi talking for long and finally soundless sleep.

 Day 2

Lishi had 2 choices to choose in her Life (O or P).O-Orange Saree(family selection) , P-Pink Saree (Her selection)change and change made her decision better towards P. Yes all set to match on Accessories

We left to town Payyanur town bus stand and waited for Divya Aunty.20 mins Divya aunty on her way and still on her way and there she is .roamed and entered a shop called colors opp to skyper market.

Matching ear rings (paper handicraft) and bangles purchased .Matching green colour was pending for Lishi’s Orange saree, On the way purchased 2 popy (umbrella), which was inaugurated by Divya aunty before rain covered us. All of us way to tejas complex we spotted Lottery in tata nano and wanted to hit on our luck (invisible character), Purchased 3 WO series lottery Myself, Lishi, and Divya aunty.

Shopped green color for Lishi and headed backup home. Had super home snacks prepared by Aunty and Ji akka. Now it was time for girls to get set for tomorrow, Nandu and myself started with Mahandi and I also tried hairstyle on her beautiful hair. Lishi had one big work (Iron her cloths) before her elder sister come. Waiting for them in balcony and it was 11:40PM Land rover left hand driver seat landed home and all of us rushed to welcome Nisha Akka(Lishi Elder sis).Nisha Akka –Tall&beautiful with sweet smile spoke to me and I was nervous and I replied her yes Aunty(I regret telling her Aunty !she is damn hot).

Elder most Akshay-(Smart ,Very well mannered,high in hospitality appreciate him for his respect for elders),

Amshith (Amshi was very interesting, he asked me one question during lunch in hall .When you grow old what do you want to become? I still think about the answer when I grow old hahahhah. He wants to be an engineer and may be also business man, he seems very naughty and fun kid).

Asika- I loved her name and her too, she s very caring and sweet little fun girl.

Aiyanna- smallest among all, she explored her on spot talent with my ESLR Camera clicking some memories for me. Cute sweet kid (I predict she will turn to be an actress).

Nandana (Nandu)-Cute looking kid, but she s smart and I will never forget her 50% Malayalam  English story  she shared with me that day evening. Dressed her hair for the function.

Ananthu (silent killer)-His question to me and Lish ,how do u say English in Malayalam? Lishi-no answer ani-no idea. Ananthu- answered Manglish! .Very caring cute kid .

I also met Lisha’s Maternal Cousin sisters and brothers

Arvind-Eldest among all, He looked like Hollywood animated hero .He was Simple and quite.

Anjitha-( Anju-)Arvind Sister ,she s got best smile had good pics with the gang.

Sandra-(Achu)- Sweet gal less talkative but her smile answered me .

Abhinav-(Kuttu)-Naughty among all, He called me English Aunty. He knows my brother and sister name and he was repeating it for many times.

Devin-(Appu)-Silent among all but I spent very good time next day when he returned from his school early , sharp kid he aspires  to become pilot and I appreciate him so much.

Met Lishi’s Mama- Nice Man (every kids loved him), He offered me to take swimming classes in the pond nearby.

Rejitha ,Divya, Arvind’s mom, all three cooked for me special onion bajji and banana sweet bajji loved it , Thank you Divya aunty and Rejitha aunty for cooking best chicken for lunch, i will sure try your tip on frying coconut.

Getting back to Day 3:

Got up early, everyone getting ready, Lishi finally made her biggest decision on her confusion P or O , it was Pink Saree and she was looking stunning & Very beautiful. Met all aunties and above mentioned kids at home, Left in bus to reach the Hall it took 45 mins travel. Got down and a warm welcome from Amrutha’s family to all of us. Amrutha (Bride) was all ready and we went to talk to her in green room, met her best friend I forgot her name, she was very nice girl asking my opinion about my stay and visit to kerala. I was back in seat watching the tradition of putting bangle by Shobanna Aunty(Lishi Mom ) to her

Udabi daughter in law,A tradition of accepting her and placing their hand on her head and showering with rice.Very nice moments , All scene captured by Asika and Akshay, Great job kids nice photographs I will have them with me foreever. And thanks Akshay (Akku) for instantly sharing the pics to the groom who was missing in the ceremony (Nikesh –Groom –on Duty in Dhubai missed  to attend his own engagement with Amrutha).

Had nice pics with kids and Amrutha. Time for lunch and I had Amshi,Akku,Arvind,Ani sharing the table ,

Akku suggested me to take more beatroot pickle for Biryani, and Amshi convinced me in Malayalam half & Half biryani sharing, I agreed ! Arvind,Akshay and myself discussed abt new  movie releases and finished lunch.we all had nice pics together taken by little one Aiyana , she also shooted my slow motion discussion with akshay in her Iphone 5s a feature specially designed for 5s(I get to know abt it there).

My Nandu, and all 4 kids left to their places, I really had very nice time knowing them,NIsha akka, Jisha Akka ,Nandhu,Ananthu,Nandhu’s grandfather(he was in Indian Airforce he knew kannada).

Way back to home took same bus , Li aunty dozz off all the way , I was half dozing and listening to Malayalam music.Way back home and all aunties and kids stayed till 5pm chatting. I started my work from Kerala support at 5pm internet was very slow and moved myself to upstairs sit out, Awesome place to work if we have network. Finished my work at 9:30pm  weekly reports finally uploaded and sent.

Day 4:Sept16th

Got up late , got ready packed my things ,Me and Lishi decided to go for Lishi ‘s Grand mom house where divya aunty,Reji aunty,Shobha aunt’s place, my camera without memory I clicked awesome pics

Walking way to grandma house, my mistake I forgot memory card.30 mins walk reached divya aunty house , Reji and Divya aunty showed me the room where lishi took birth .house had beautiful pics , Lishi

Granddad pic was the best (very handsome).

Snack time and variety on our table, Thanks to Divya and Reji aunty for giving me the taste of onion and banana bajji very tasty. Visited Shobha aunty place had vada and bajji ,lishi transferred pics to Arvind laptop.

Appu came back from his exam hall,me and lishi started taking pics around the house , Appu Scared us with Snakes and we all had lovely pics with snakes. Nice time riding Appu’s cycle.

Divya aunty took us to one auspicious house way behind her house. Me lishi appu and divya aunty walked carefully to reach that house.

This house belong to landlords and 15 families stayed all together, but when I went in I Saw middle aged aunty all alone. She s not married , she s living there all alone for more than 6 years .went inside and stood out of that auspicious  room where lishi told me that holy spirit stay in that room(very interesting).Lady showed us some old monuments and I spotted one old radio. She is very strong woman, she was challenging us no man can stay like me all alone in this big house in this forest.

She made her choice and I appreciate her for her bravery, while we started shooting house, we saw small snake passing, Lishi slowly took her camera and captured. There was 3 open well surrounding the house, one well was restricted since it had lots of snakes around. This house had History!! And I was blessed to visit there.

Way back, we had awesome lunch, Sandra’s birthday that day Sept 16th! Our Lottery luck was running away from us and we checked out in newspaper no luck no win win and left to Lisha house. Relaxed for some time and packed our bags to Bangalore.

A memorable trip to remember and Met wonderful people!

Prothsaha

Aug-15 2014, Version 1

Venue: Sirmalli, nanjangudu, Mysore

All set to meet kids at village school on Independence Day, we all started around 7:15am and reached Sirmalli at 8am.Lot to observe around school road. Beautiful Rangoli, Tri colors flying all around the school compound, Kids Running around waiting for flag to hoist. We had break at home and then reached school .Active Members for the day: Ani, Yathish Anna, Rupaka, Ridhi (Rupaka daughter), Appaji (My DAD), Sharath, Bharath, Lochan, Akshatha.

After years we got opportunity to be part of school and celebrate Independence Day, Flag hoisting done, Kids Saluting the flag went marching in main roads of village spreading the power of Unity ,Freedom, diversity!

We has a team prepared our self to kick start our mission prothsaha-power of encouraging young generation.

We got in all gifts we had for kids pencil pouch kit, while all of us were honored by Head madam of the school

To taking up this initiative. In Presence of my Dad, Sports Kit was gifted to school kids in the name of encouragement-Prothsaha (Sponsored by Yathish Anna, Nagaraj daddy, Mahesh Rai, Rupaka).

I would thank my Gang of cousins (Sharu, Bharu, Lochan, Akshatha, Ridhi, and Rupaka) for being there encouraging All of us.

A new mission to encourage Kids was again a learning experience for all of us who made it on that day.

What did we take back home that day?

Incalculable happiness of giving and making a difference.

28th post!!!!2012

28^th Marked to be our day, a small contribution of my time with curious out set to watch kids .

Looking for doddathoggur school in electronic city right and left and late by half an hour ,

Fast assigned with kids to take over more then ten experiments for grade level 5 6 7 .

Incredible  confident I could see in the eyes of those young leaders assigned with science experiments on Viscosity, force ,pressure, solar system, inertia, lateral shift, good conductors etc etc., Simple they looked but had a great conclusion and applications , appreciating the school students from Hebbal initiated this Science fair and sharing practical knowledge among their age group .

Cheers ! for the student life ,cheers! For those learning days ..
